I'M A GRAPHIC DESIGNER in ROCK HILL, SC and FUTURE DESIGNER at FUZZCO in CHARLESTON, SC.
After my first web design class in the Spring of 2008, and a few portfolio sites for my friends (including my own), I started an internship with Ben Visser at Nice Outfit. This is where I really learned to design for the web. Ben taught me almost everything I know about clean code, the difference between art and design, and a lot about working in the business. After a summer of nine-to-fiving with Ben, I began working with Revenflo as their main designer and front-end developer. After graduation in May, I'll be moving on even bigger and better pastures when I start as a designer, developer, and resident custom typographer at Fuzzco in Charleston.
Besides designing the internet, I also love hand-lettering typography, enjoy collecting typographic ephemera, finessing delicate curves with the pen tool, hanging out with my cat Steve, and obsessing over Apple products my girlfriend.
