Travel Posters

These two posters are for a project I did in school. We had to create two travel posters with specific angles on them and target specific demographics. I chose Switzerland for The Basel School of Design, targeting designers in school, and Japan, targeting people interested in Japanese cuisine who have not studied it in Japan before.
Shuffle Magazine Logo

A redesign of the Shuffle Magazine logo. I'm currently leading up the design department of the magazine with Ben Jack.
Small Business Council

This is a logo I designed for the Small Business Council of York County. I was working with the idea small businesses coming together to form one group. The colors were pre-determined by York County's existing color palette.
Baby Shower Invitations

This is an invitation I designed for my sister's baby shower. I used die cuts of baby accessories and hand-drawn type. They were very fun to make. It's a boy!
Self Promotional

This was a mail-out booklet about myself as a designer. I emphasized the different parts of my personality as a designer and made cut die cuts of my logo on each spread.
Catch 22 Academic Journal

This is a 20-page academic journal based on themes from the movie and book Catch 22. I designed the whole booklet including the gun illustrations on the cover. I was given the printing constraints of a one-color interior (to which I chose a blue-violet) and a full color exterior.
Nicki Verechia, Artist Promotional

This was a piece I designed for my friend Nicki Verechia. It is made up of 5 concentric circles that can be spun around the axis freely. As the viewer spins the second circle in, they learn about who she is and her choices of media.
Not Suave

This is a project for my 3D Graphic Design class at school. The prompt was to redesign the cheap shampoo and conditioner bottles of Suave to be in the price point of 10 to 15 dollars. In my case, I emphasized size and being organic to raise the price. I used recycled paper for the labels and treated the bottles with sandpaper to create a more natural look and feel to the plastic. I renamed the company "not suave" to emphasize the departure from the Suave company and the idea of the word "suave".
All in the Timing

I worked with Ben Jack on this poster for Pineville Dinner Theatre's play series. The idea of this "One Crazy Night" was that you go to the theatre and pick three short plays to see, rather than the usual single show. All 6 plays were comedic and almost completely different from each other, with the exception of them being viewed all in one night.. I really enjoyed making the icons for each of the 6 plays.
Allison Gill

For this artist website, I wanted to keep my big, design-y hands out of the artist's beautiful photographs, so I kept it very clean, and used little accents of red to push up the class. I laid it all out on top of an off-white background to hint at the older processes that the photographer uses in her work. Click to view the site.
Various Illustrations for the Johnsonian

An ever present task, The Johnsonian (Withrop University's school newspaper) asks me with each issue to create graphics on demand (I get a week tops to create these.). Please note that the newspaper is printed primarily in black and white, which is why they are all black, white, and grey. Here is a collection of a couple that I have done for them.

Re>Visit:I Alumni Exhibition

This is a site I did for Winthrop's 1st Annual Re>Visit Alumni Exhibition. Luke Atkinson designed the identity (including the beautiful pink), and I took over for the website. It includes a short description of what each alumni in the show has done since graduation, a photo of them and their work, information on lectures surrounding the show, and a page on the Alumni & Student Lunch that is being held. Click to visit site.
Carolina Ethanol Partnership

I worked with Kevin Gardner to create this logo for his new business, Carolina Ethanol Partnership. I didn't design the website.
Old Camera Drawings

These two camera drawings are part of a series of 6 I did in the summer of 2008. Each is 8x8 inches and I'm selling laser prints for $10 each. Two of the drawings were incorporated into the home page and business cards of Allison Gill's Portfolio Site upon request.
Ben Jack Portfolio Site

I designed this portfolio site for my friend Ben Jack who does design and photography. In this site, I was experimenting with unique gallery presentations. Also, in order to reflect Ben's personality as a designer, I kept the design extremely simple. his favorite principle of design is economy. Also, in this site I made a sort of display board that he could update as he wished with whatever pictures he wants.
Kevin Morrisey Portfolio Site

This site was designed while I was at my internship with Nice Outfit. I made my first drop-down menu here. There was so much work to catalog that I really just had to do that. I wanted to emphasize the work on this site, so I kept the background blank like a gallery-space, and just showcased the work.
S. Crotts Illustration Logo

I designed this logo for my good friend Stephen. He does great illustration & painting.
Ben Jack Photo + Design Logo

Ben Jack's logo. I designed it. He's my business partner and best design friend.
